Back at it! Workout: pushups

It's been too long. I haven't been to kung-fu in a consistent way in at least a couple months. I'm falling behind. Time to kick it into gear I think, just have to keep myself disciplined and get it done.

To start it off I did my usual Saturday workout, pushups, last night. I've come to the conclusion that part of the reason the exercise dropped off was due to the fact that I was keeping myself on level one, easy stuff. I need to step it up, increase the difficulty, feel some pain. I've gone to level two of the pushup series: incline pushups.

3 sets of incline pushups: 40, 22, and 20 reps
1 set of wall pushups: 50 reps

I woke up stiff and this morning, but didn't realize how sore until I tried to drink my coffee and couldn't get the mug to my mouth as my arm wouldn't bend far enough. It also made getting dressed this morning interesting. Arm stiffness is easing off now though, so I should be fine by tomorrow. I feel like a wuss saying I'm sore from that amount of exercise, but it'll get better, and I'll progress, and adapt, and evolve!
